Hayley & Ben – Mary Immaculate Waverly – Sebel Pier One

Hayley & Ben had a super windy day for their wedding but at least we missed the big dust storms that hit Sydney recently! It actually made for some great shots of Hayley’s veil flying vertically, horizontally….. and all other angles in between.

The ceremony was at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Waverly, a really beautiful church and the ceremony was lovely. There was plenty of laughs throughout as the little flower girl very seriously kept asking everyone to “ssshhhh”!! We left the church and headed to Hyde Park where the wind wasn’t in effect and Ben showed off his very impressive signature lifting moves (apparently he’ll lift anyone, anywhere, for any reason).

We also went to Martin Place and then down to the Rocks area under the Harbour Bridge where it was blowing a howling cold gale! Needless to say we didn’t hang around for many photos so it was inside to the reception at the Sebel Pier One upstairs in the Harbour Watch room. The view over Luna Park and the Harbour Bridge is stunning, and the room was beautifully laid out. A great night was had by all and I even managed to get Ben in all the table photos!

The videographer for the day was Alex Marks at SKM Studios. I have being on a number of weddings with Alex and he is fantastic to work with, highly recommended!
