Liz & James’ wedding was special in so many ways – first of all Liz & James were two beautiful people who had an amazing wedding day with so many great moments….and some great photos too! Secondly it was really nice to catch up with a family I had shot a wedding for several years earlier. And lastly I was really moved by how excited everyone was on the day – especially the Mums & Dads of the groomsmen who had all grown up together so it was a really extended family group.
It was de ja vu doing the preparations at Liz’s house and great to see some familiar faces amongst the family, and Jess Berg doing brilliant hair & make up as always. Liz and the girls looked amazing! The chapel at Monte San Angelo is stunning and the courtyard outside is a great place for friends & family to mingle before and after the ceremony.
We did a few photos at Monte before heading into the city to catch the light – sunset in April is fairly early so you dont want to miss it! We were treated to a perfect evening at the Opera House before some night shots near the Park Hyatt and then onto the reception at Waterfront.
The night went really well with a nice mix of very funny and very moving speeches before the dancing kicked off!
