Amanda & Ben – Marie Regina Church Avalon – Moby’s Whale Beach

A great location for the preparations can really add to the photos and I loved the house where Amanda was getting ready – it had a very cool beach style that suited the wedding day really well. The ceremony was at the Marie Regina Church in Avalon and I took a few shots of Ben and the cool cars before Amanda pulled up in a combi van! The ceremony had plenty of laughs and the bubbles outside the church were a big hit. After the ceremony we headed to the Palm Beach Ferry Wharf for our first location shoot, and then to another wharf nearby before arriving at Whale Beach. The late afternoon light was fantastic and we got some awesome photos on the rocks! The reception was at Moby’s – a great venue right on Whale Beach – and the personalised stubby holders and the wedding cake were fantastic. Read more…

Katie & Jerome – St Mary’s Immaculate Manly – Mona Vale Beach – Moby’s Whale Beach

Katie & Jerome were married at St Mary’s Immaculate in Manly – right next door to the studio! It’s a lovely church and the ceremony went very well. Outside it had started to rain so we did a group shot in the church but had a clear patch for family photos and some with Katie & Jerome. We headed to Mona Vale Beach for location photos but upon arrival the wind and rain didnt look good. Much to their credit the bridal party braved the elements and it was a lot of fun trying to shoot with my camera in one hand and an umbrella in the other! The photos turned out well and the cloud does add a lot of atmosphere to the look. The reception was at Moby’s right on Whale Beach.
