Wendy & Adrian – Jonahs Whale Beach

Wendy & Adrian were married at one of my favourite venues on the Northern Beaches – Jonah’s at Whale Beach. It feels like you are a million miles away from Sydney city and the views from this headland venue are stunning. Add to that an intimate atmosphere and first class food and you’re set for a great wedding day! We did some location photos after the ceremony on Whale Beach itself and then more later after the reception at Palm Beach and the Palm Beach Ferry Wharf. All beautiful spots and we captured some great photos both romantic and fun. The stunning styling was done by The Style Salon. Video for the day was done by Tedy Sutanto and you can see a highlights clip here.

The ceremony was at the Marie Regina Church in Avalon and I took a few shots of Ben and the cool cars before Amanda pulled up in a combi van! The ceremony had plenty of laughs and the bubbles outside the church were a big hit. After the ceremony we headed to the Palm Beach Ferry Wharf for our first location shoot, and then to another wharf nearby before arriving at Whale Beach. The late afternoon light was fantastic and we got some awesome photos on the rocks! The reception was at Moby’s – a great venue right on Whale Beach – and the personalised stubby holders and the wedding cake were fantastic. Read more…
