Erin & Roland – Blessed Sacrament Church – Q Station Manly

Erin & Roland had a beautiful day with lovely winter weather. I started with Erin’s preparations at the Q Station and the rooms there are great for photos. Her little niece was hilarious showing off her modeilling spins and twirls! Mikala was a second photographer on the day and went to Roland’s house for his preparations – she got some great shots of the guys getting suited all up and having a good laugh. The ceremony was at Blessed Sacrament Church on Bradley’s Head Road in Mosman and it’s a lovely venue. The priest was really nice and the ceremony had a very relaxed and personal feel to it. Roland’s sister sang two beautiful opera songs that made the hairs on my neck stand up – wow, she has an amazing voice! Kate & Michael – St Stephens – Q Station

Kate & Michael were married at St Stephen’s Church in Willoughby. It’s a lovely church with plenty of room outside for everyone to mingle…. the bubble blowing was a real hit with the kids! Their reception was at the Q Station in Manly so we did some location photos at a couple of great lookouts on North Head. We also took some shots right on sunset down by the Q Station wharf before the pre-dinner drinks in the Former Hospital Room. The main reception dinner was just up the hill in the Governor Bourke Room, a great venue with plenty of room inside. Congratulations Kate & Michael!

Charlie & Rob – Q Station – Manly Beach

Charlie & Rob originally hail from Scotland so this was a real Scottish wedding with kilts, whiskey and wonderful Scottish accents! We also seemed to get a good dose of Scottish weather as it rained quite hard for most of the day! The ceremony was at a new wedding venue in Manly, the Q Station. It’s a great location situated on North Head and has beautiful old wooden buildings and fantastic views out across Sydney Harbour. Due to the rain the ceremony was held indoors, Jan Littlejohn was the celebrant and as always she was really lovely. Outdoor photos were looking unlikely but a break in the clouds gave us some time for shots on Manly Beach and at the Fairy Bower Rock Pool. We got some great shots, and Charlie was very brave at the Pool with all the waves crashing around…. I dont think I’ve seen a wedding Read more…
