Monika & Dan – Freshwater Beach – Curl Curl – Pilu
Monika & Dan’s wedding at Freshwater Beach and Pilu was a fantastic day. I love a real beach wedding and this one had it all. Being based overseas it was a great catch up with all their friends & family and in such a beautiful laid back location.
The ceremony started off on a great note when Rocky the pageboy strutted down halfway down the aisle, paused with a hand nonchalantly in the pocket, then continued to much laughter at his modelling skills.
We kept under umbrellas immediately after the ceremony but once the showers eased we did photos with the bridal party on Freshwater Beach and also headed to the dunes above Curl Curl Beach. We got some great shots!
The cars for the day were from Wedding Cars of Distinction and I cant recommend Peter and the team more highly for their consistently professional service.
The reception at Pilu was a great mixture of catch ups, awesome food, excellent speeches, a bit more rain… generally just an awesome party. Thanks to the crew at Pilu and also Janelle from Saltwater Weddings for running things so smoothly. Flowers were from White House Flowers in Manly are were beautiful as always, highly recommended.

Daniella & Evan – St John’s Church Wilberforce – Loxley on Bellbird Hill
My last wedding for 2011 was Daniella & Evan – they had a beautiful day starting with the ceremony at St John’s Church in Wilberforce. The page boy was classic with a “here comes the bride” sign. Daniella was super excited the whole day and we had a ball with a very fun bridal party too.
We took photos at the church and then headed to the reception venue Loxley on Bellbird Hill. It’s a fantastic location nestled on the hill and with great views and green all around. It’s a good spot for photos and we even got one with a horse

Wendy & Adrian – Jonahs Whale Beach
Wendy & Adrian were married at one of my favourite venues on the Northern Beaches – Jonah’s at Whale Beach. It feels like you are a million miles away from Sydney city and the views from this headland venue are stunning. Add to that an intimate atmosphere and first class food and you’re set for a great wedding day!
We did some location photos after the ceremony on Whale Beach itself and then more later after the reception at Palm Beach and the Palm Beach Ferry Wharf. All beautiful spots and we captured some great photos both romantic and fun.
