Jennifer & Daniel – Mandalay – The Rocks
Jennifer and Daniel were married at the Mandalay in Lane Cove. It’s a beautiful venue which has a great mix of an old style interior with a lovely garden exterior. The ceremony was held in the garden to the side of the house and it featured a lovely reading from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. It was a hot day so everyone headed inside after a few photos for the lunch time reception. The table settings were beautifully done, and check out the wedding cake – I’m not a basketball ref but this looks like a foul! After the reception we headed into the city for some photos with Jennifer and Daniel…
Kate & Brendan – Anglican Parish Hunters Hill – Royal Automobile Club RACA
Kate & Brendan had a beautiful warm spring day for their wedding. The ceremony was at Anglican Parish of Hunter’s Hill – a really lovely old church located in the heart of Hunter’s Hill and surrounded by trees. I was very impressed by the unique setting of the church – it had a very English county kind of feel. The reception was at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia – aka RACA – so we headed into the city and did some location shots at Hyde Park and the Opera House…. and of course some inside the RACA itself. Check out the shot of Kate & Brendan with a giant…
Marlia & Mark – Garrison Church – The Rocks – Bel Mondo
It’s been a very busy couple of months! As such we’re a bit behind on the blog so here goes…… Marlia & Mark were married at the Garrison Church in the Rocks. It was my first wedding at this church and I really enjoyed being right in the heart of the Rocks area! The church itself is stunning and there are plenty of great photo locations in the Rocks all within walking distance. I started at Marlia’s house for her preparation shots and Kirstine was a second shooter for the day who went to Mark’s house for his preps. The ceremony at the Garrison was lovely with Rev. Howard running…
Rianne & Yubin – Sydney Harbour Bridge – St Mary’s Cathedral – Mrs Macquarie’s Chair – Observatory Hill
Rianne & Yubin are getting married later in the year in China so in this pre-wedding shoot they wanted to feature some of most iconic spots around Sydney. We started at Bradley’s Head and it was blowing a gale! Still the Harbour looked beautiful and in the bright sun we got some great shots. We then headed to Kirribilli and after that St Mary’s Cathedral and a few photos at Hyde Park. We also visited Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and the Opera House towards the end of the day. We caught a beautiful sunset at Observatory Hill (in the howling wind!) before finishing with some night shots under the Harbour Bridge!
