Megan & Chris – St Brigid’s Coogee – Pavilion Botanic Gardens
An awesome wedding from earlier in the month! Megan & Chris were married at St Brigid’s Coogee and the reception was at the The Pavilion in the Botanic Gardens. There were so many great moments from the day – the highlight was Megan walking into St Brigid’s Church and I just love the look she gives her Mum that seems to say “don’t cry Mum!”. Chris couldn’t help but be gobsmacked seeing Megan walk in and as well as a few tears everyone at the wedding – especially the bridal party – shared plenty of laughs over the day. Katie & Mark – Engagement Shoot – Centennial Park
Katie & Mark are getting married next month so we did an engagement / pre-wedding shoot in Centennial Park last weekend for a bit of practice in front of the camera – not that these guys need it at all! Margaret & Jared – Centennial Park – RACA
Margaret & Jared had a beautiful (but hot) January day for their wedding. Jared is in the armed forces so the wedding had some awesome military uniforms. Margaret’s dress was stunning and the ceremony was held at St Mary’s Anglican Church in Waverly with the highlight being a guard of honour when Margaret & Jared exited the church. We did the bridal party photos at Centennial Park in the pine grove and got some really lovely photos before heading to the RACA (Royal Automobile Club of Australia). Nicky & Simon – Oakhill College Chapel – Centennial Park – MCA
Nicky & Simon had a scorcher of a wedding day with the temperature hitting 40 in Castle Hill! Phew. The ceremony was held at the Oakhill College Chapel and it is a very beautiful place with a colourful interior. We headed away to Centennial Park for some photos with the bridal party before a short stop at Argyle Street and then photos under the Harbour Bridge. The reception was at the MCA – the Museum of Contemporary Art right in Circular Quay. Wow! Catherine & Josh – St Brigids – Royal Motor Yacht Club
Catherine & Josh were married at St Brigid’s Church in Coogee – it was very handy being just around the corner from where they live! St Brigid’s is a beautiful church, light and bright and the ceremony was really lovely. We did some location photos at Clovelly near the Surf Club / Gordon’s Bay before heading to Centennial Park where the setting sun made for some great shots! The reception was at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, a great place with fantastic views over the water. Congratulations guys! The wedding cars were from Silver Cloud.
Laura & Michael – McKell Park – Clovelly Surf Club
With rain and storms hitting Sydney all morning, Laura & Michael must have had some nervous moments before their outdoor ceremony at McKell Park…. but the clouds parted right on cue and there was sunshine until the reception kicked off and an impressive storm front rolled through! It was a lovely wedding, starting with preparation photos at the Stamford in Double Bay, location shots at Centennial Park, and an awesome reception at the Clovelly Surf Club. The bridal party were a bunch of characters and the speeches that night were classic. Congratulations and thanks for a great day guys!
