Weddings - Anu & Dinuk - St Francis Xavier Church Berrima - Peppers Manor House - Southern Highlands

One of my first weddings of the second half of the year and it was great to get away to the Southern Highlands region for Anu & Dinuk’s wedding!

It was a beautiful cool spring day and I started with Dinuk’s preparations at Peppers Manor House in Sutton Forest (near Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands). Anu was in the other wing of the Manor and after shooting her preparations it was off to St Francis Xavier Church in nearby Berrima.

The church was built in the 1800’s and was recently refurbished so looked amazing inside and out. The ceremony went very well with loads of smiles and a few happy tears. After some group and family photos we headed to Moss Vale (near Bowral in the Southern Highlands), stopping en route for photos in a field by the road side. We also did a few quick shots (while the guys got hot chips!) near the train station in Moss Vale before heading back to Peppers. The great thing about Peppers Manor House at Sutton Forest is that there are plenty of great photo locations around the grounds so we did the last of the bridal party shots there.

Before the main reception Anu & Dinuk also had a traditional buddhist poruwa ceremony including an entrance with drums and dancers.

The reception was at Kater’s Restaurant (part of Peppers Manor) and it is a highly awarded venue. The table settings were beautiful with so clearly a lot of thoughtful preparation going into the details. The night was fantastic with some great speeches and one of the best bouquet throws I have seen off the top of the stairs inside the Manor House main room!
