Robyn & Brad – Manly Pacific Hotel

Robyn & Brad had a beautiful wedding with the ceremony at the Manly Pacific Hotel. It was a lovely day with fantastic weather just perfect for the location shots outside at Fairy Bower Rock Pool and North Head. Visit my facebook page McKay Photography Facebook here.

Lauren & Adam – Cerretti Chapel Manly – QVB Tea Rooms Wedding

Lauren & Adam were married on a stormy day but managed to keep dry and enjoyed some spectacular afternoon light at the Fairy Bower Rock Pool. I started the day at Lauren’s house and got some beautiful shots before heading to Cerretti Chapel at St Patrick’s Estate in Manly. It’s a stunning chapel and one of my favourite churches to photograph weddings at. Lauren arrived and the ceremony was well conducted by Father Lex. As Lauren & Adam left the chapel the wind was fairly strong so Lauren’s veil was quite a handful! After some photos at the chapel we headed to the nearby Fairy Bower Rock Pool and Shelly Beach. The storm clouds that had passed overhead earlier formed a dramatic backdrop for some beautiful Read more…

P & B – Ceretti Chapel St Patrick’s Manly – Long Reef Golf Club

Pascale & Brett’s wedding was an awesome wedding that definitely packed a lot into one day! I started with both Brett & Pascale’s preparation photos and got some great shots of all the fun they were having simply getting ready. The ceremony was at the beautiful Cerretti Chapel at St Patrick’s in Manly – a stunning location both inside the chapel and outside with impressive buildings and views over Manly. The ceremony went very well – I loved the look on Brett’s face as Pascale walked in and the big hug outside the chapel once they were married. After photos on site at St Patrick’s we headed to the rock pool at Fairy Bower, and then took a water taxi from Manly Wharf to Bradley’s Read more…

Charlie & Rob – Q Station – Manly Beach

Charlie & Rob originally hail from Scotland so this was a real Scottish wedding with kilts, whiskey and wonderful Scottish accents! We also seemed to get a good dose of Scottish weather as it rained quite hard for most of the day! The ceremony was at a new wedding venue in Manly, the Q Station. It’s a great location situated on North Head and has beautiful old wooden buildings and fantastic views out across Sydney Harbour. Due to the rain the ceremony was held indoors, Jan Littlejohn was the celebrant and as always she was really lovely. Outdoor photos were looking unlikely but a break in the clouds gave us some time for shots on Manly Beach and at the Fairy Bower Rock Pool. We Read more…
