Fenella & James had an awesome wedding day full of smiles and lots of laughs! It was an early start at Fenella’s preparations as the ceremony at St Mark’s Darling Point was at 9.30am. Fenella and the girls looked stunning and at the church James and the boys were looking pretty sharp too. Fenella arrived at St Mark’s in a very cool old Jag and you could tell she was super excited about getting married. Actually the smiles and excitement didnt stop for the whole day which was awesome to see. We did some location photos at McKell Park before heading to the Sergeant’s Mess for the reception. It was a cracker day and the Harbour looked amazing from the balcony. It’s a great wedding venue and everything went very smoothly. It was great to shoot with Jamie from Soda Films. Bianca & Paul were married on the Sydney Glass Island cruise ship – it’s such a great way to take in all the sights of Sydney Harbour. I did preparation photos with Bianca at the Star City hotel, and then location photos with the bridal party at McKell Park, so Paul got to meet Bianca and didnt his jaw just drop to the ground! Love that shot. The photos at McKell were lovely and it was then on to the Glass Island for the ceremony. Everything went beautifully and it finished with a butterfly release. The wind was quite strong but the good thing about being on a boat is you can always move to calmer waters….. so we moored near Bradley’s Head for the reception. It was a beautiful evening and we were treated to a stunning sunset. A great day, congrats you guys!
With rain and storms hitting Sydney all morning, Laura & Michael must have had some nervous moments before their outdoor ceremony at McKell Park…. but the clouds parted right on cue and there was sunshine until the reception kicked off and an impressive storm front rolled through! It was a lovely wedding, starting with preparation photos at the Stamford in Double Bay, location shots at Centennial Park, and an awesome reception at the Clovelly Surf Club. The bridal party were a bunch of characters and the speeches that night were classic. Congratulations and thanks for a great day guys!
Another very hot one in Sydney as the mercury hit 42 degrees, phew! Tyrilly & Daniel were married at St Joseph’s in Edgecliff and we did location shots in Martin Place and McKell Park. The photos look amazing and it was a real pleasure to hang out with these guys for the day! The reception was at the Stamford Hotel in Double Bay, a great spot with some lovely classic feel. Also at the wedding was Edgar from Abraham Joffe Videography. I’ve worked with Edgar a couple of times and he’s always very professional and easy going. A lot of people ask me about how the videographers work in with us, so keep an eye out for an update to this post with a highlights clip from Abraham Joffe.
