Rachel & Peter – Sydney Botanic Gardens – Aria Restaurant
It was a beautiful May day when Rachel & Peter got married at Aria Restaurant. The weather was warm and we did photos in the Botanic Gardens before the ceremony which started after sunset. The bridal party were awesome and we had lots of laughs and great shots simply wandering around the Botanic Gardens. The ceremony went very well and the dinner at Aria was quite amazing. A beautiful couple and an awesome day! Visit my website or like me on facebook!
Paulina & Nick – Botanic Gardens – QVB Tea Rooms
Phew, it was a super busy October and as such the blog has had zero attention! So time to show some recent weddings, starting with Paulina & Nick! I began the day with Paulina’s preparations at the Shangri-La Hotel, so we had a great view of all the rain rolling in! I loved the reminder that Nick put on Paulina’s iphone – very sweet! It wasnt looking good for an outdoor ceremony in the Botanic Gardens but with some positive belief Paulina & Nick decided to chance it anyway…..and it nearly paid off! Paulina made a beautiful (dry) entrance and then half way through the ceremony the rain came pouring…
Gwen & Terry – Tarpeian Precinct Botanic Gardens – Opera Point Marquee
Gwen & Terry were married at the Tarpeian Precinct in the Botanic Gardens. It’s a fantastic location right next to the Opera House with views over the harbour and it has a large fig tree for shade on a hot day. The ceremony went very well – I’ve never seen a veil come off with the first kiss! The the shower of petals as they walked down the aisle looks awesome! We did a few photos with Gwen & Terry at the Botanic Gardens and then headed to Hyde Park and also the Rocks before ending up back at the Opera House and the reception at Opera Point Marquee. It’s…
Kelly & Justin – Botanic Gardens – Doltone House
Kelly & Justin were married at one of the best positions in the Botanic Gardens – the Bennelong Lawn right above the Opera House! It was a lovely ceremony and we did some shots at the Opera House and Martin Place before heading to Doltone House in Pyrmont for the reception. Congratulations to you both! The wedding planner for the day was Amanda from Signature Wedding Planners. Amanda was really nice and the day went super smoothly!
Chantelle & Dylan – Botanic Gardens – Tea Room QVB
Before Chantelle and Dylan were married the entire bridal party met in the Botanic Gardens. This is quite a common event in weddings overseas and it’s a great way to make that ‘first look’ of each other a lot more personal and dramatic! We then took some great photos in the Botanic Gardens before the ceremony which was held in the Tea Room at the QVB. This is an awesome venue that has beautiful old world looks but also a warm and intimate feel. The whole day was just fantastic, congratulations guys! The video was done by Dave at D’nM Video. He was great to work with and the video…
