Lauren & Adam – Cerretti Chapel Manly – QVB Tea Rooms Wedding
Lauren & Adam were married on a stormy day but managed to keep dry and enjoyed some spectacular afternoon light at the Fairy Bower Rock Pool. I started the day at Lauren’s house and got some beautiful shots before heading to Cerretti Chapel at St Patrick’s Estate in Manly. It’s a stunning chapel and one of my favourite churches to photograph weddings at. Lauren arrived and the ceremony was well conducted by Father Lex. Paulina & Nick – Botanic Gardens – QVB Tea Rooms
Phew, it was a super busy October and as such the blog has had zero attention! So time to show some recent weddings, starting with Paulina & Nick! I began the day with Paulina’s preparations at the Shangri-La Hotel, so we had a great view of all the rain rolling in! I loved the reminder that Nick put on Paulina’s iphone – very sweet! It wasnt looking good for an outdoor ceremony in the Botanic Gardens but with some positive belief Paulina & Nick decided to chance it anyway…..and it nearly paid off! Paulina made a beautiful (dry) entrance and then half way through the ceremony the rain came pouring…
Chantelle & Dylan – Botanic Gardens – Tea Room QVB
Before Chantelle and Dylan were married the entire bridal party met in the Botanic Gardens. This is quite a common event in weddings overseas and it’s a great way to make that ‘first look’ of each other a lot more personal and dramatic! We then took some great photos in the Botanic Gardens before the ceremony which was held in the Tea Room at the QVB. Catherine & Nathan were married at St Joseph’s College in early October, we did location photos around Hyde Park and the QVB, and the reception was at the QVB Tea Rooms. We got some great shots – it was very hard for me to choose just a few for this post!
