Weddings - Sasha & Andrew - Freshwater View Reserve - Curl Curl - Pilu

Sasha & Andrew were after a relaxed, beach style for their wedding day, and with a ceremony & reception venue both within a stones throw of the beach, they got just that! There was also a strong vespa theme at the wedding – based on their form of transport around London – that extended from a vespa parked outside the park, to beer cooloers, to the top of the wedding cake!

I started the day with Sasha’s preparations while Mikala went to Andrew’s house. We all met up at Freshwater View Reserve which is a secluded park perched high above Freshwater Beach. It’s a lovely spot and with sunshine & clear skies it looked just perfect. The ceremony went beautifully and with plenty of time to mingle following the ceremony the afternoon felt very relaxed.

We headed to Curl Curl Beach for photos with the bridal party, but only after Sasha & Andrew had a hoon around on the vespa! We got some lovely photos at Curl Curl in the maram grass before heading to the reception at Pilu. It’s a beautiful venue and the food is outstanding…..and it’s right on the beach.
