Sonya & Kevin – Shelly Beach – Le Kiosk

Sonya & Kevin had a beautiful ceremony on Shelly Beach that included a lovely exchange of roses. It was a fun crowd – I love the shot of their friend / driver – a good thing Sonya chose Kevin to marry and not this ‘Bad Boy’. At the end of the ceremony we headed to the rock pool at Fairy Bower for photos with the bridal party. We got some great shots before taking Sonya & Kevin to Freshwater Beach…. and we even had time for some dramatic night shots down by Manly Wharf before the reception at Le Kiosk began. The clouds were threatening all day but we didnt get any rain – just a series of great backdrops to the photos. The beautiful flowers were done by Manly business Whitehouse Flowers – Helen & Kye are really nice people and their wedding flowers always look fantastic! Like to Read more…

Jee & James – St Stephen’s Newtown – The Rocks – Waterview Homebush

Autumn is a lovely time of the year – the days are mild, the leaves turn golden and brown, and afternoons seem to stretch on forever. Photographically it’s a great time as well – the light tends to be softer & more colourful as the sun follows a lower path across the sky. The ceremony itself was lovely, and the songs at the end sung by friends were fantastic. We took some photos outside the church with everyone and then headed into the Rocks area with the bridal party. We got some great shots! The reception was at Read more…

Lani & Steve – Le Kiosk Shelly Beach

Lani & Steve’s was a very local wedding for me and I started the day with Lani’s preparations just around the corner from our studio at the Manly Pacific Hotel. I loved the “Dont’s For Wives” book – good for a laugh but definitely not for modern relationships! The ceremony & reception was held at Le Kiosk – nearby at Shelly Beach and one of my favourite venues. It has great food, there’s an intimate indoor space, and it has an outside courtyard area as well. Lani & Steve held the ceremony at the back of the courtyard area and it had a lovely feel of a tropical garden setting. The ceremony itself was beautiful with all the family involved and plenty of smiles and laughter! We did some family photos near a big tree on Shelly Beach. The kids were fantastic and we got some great shots of them Read more…
