Monika & Dan’s wedding at Freshwater Beach and Pilu was a fantastic day. I love a real beach wedding and this one had it all. Being based overseas it was a great catch up with all their friends & family and in such a beautiful laid back location. The ceremony started off on a great note when Rocky the pageboy strutted down halfway down the aisle, paused with a hand nonchalantly in the pocket, then continued to much laughter at his modelling skills. Sasha & Andrew were after a relaxed, beach style for their wedding day, and with a ceremony & reception venue both within a stones throw of the beach, they got just that! There was also a strong vespa theme at the wedding – based on their form of transport around London – that extended from a vespa parked outside the park, to beer cooloers, to the top of the wedding cake! Olivia & Louis – St Andrew’s Manly – Curl Curl – Le Kiosk Shelly Beach
Olivia & Louis’ wedding was one of my last for 2009 and it was all very local for me – Olivia’s preparations were in Curl Curl, the ceremony literally just up the hill at St Andrew’s in Manly….. and the reception at Le Kiosk at Shelly Beach! St Andrew’s Presbyterian is a lovely church built in the late 1800’s and constructed from local white sandstone. I have been to quite a few weddings here and I just love the place. Anna & Barry – Freshwater View Reserve – Freshwater SLSC
Anna & Barry had a truly wonderful wedding day, starting with the ceremony at Freshwater View Reserve. It was a perfect day with sunny weather and the priest (a real mad Irishman) was absolutely hilarious! I have never seen anything like it, he made the ceremony a lot of fun. We did some location shots at Curl Curl Beach and also Freshwater Beach before the reception at the Freshwater Surf Club. Congratulations Anna & Barry! Chloe & Brett – Manly Pacific – Freshwater View Reserve – Pilu
Chloe & Brett were married at a favourite outdoor ceremony location of mine – Freshwater View Reserve. It’s a great spot for a picnic, or some quiet time taking in the amazing view…… or a wedding ceremony! Preparation photos were at the Manly Pacific Hotel (the newly refurbished rooms were great) and it was so lovely to see the family super excited & emotional about the day!
