Amy & Tristan – St Thomas’ North Sydney – Sebel Pier One
Amy & Tristan had an awesome wedding day – I started with Tristan and the boys in Manly and got some great shots of the preparations, especially the red MG and crossing the road in Manly. It was then a short trip to the Manly Pacific Hotel for Amy’s preparations. The ceremony was at St Thomas’ Church in North Sydney – it’s an amazing building with stunning architecture and Rev Richard James and Judy are an awesome pair to conduct the marriage ceremony. Lani & Steve – Le Kiosk Shelly Beach
Lani & Steve’s was a very local wedding for me and I started the day with Lani’s preparations just around the corner from our studio at the Manly Pacific Hotel. I loved the “Dont’s For Wives” book – good for a laugh but definitely not for modern relationships! The ceremony & reception was held at Le Kiosk – nearby at Shelly Beach and one of my favourite venues. It has great food, there’s an intimate indoor space, and it has an outside courtyard area as well. Lani & Steve held the ceremony at the back of the courtyard area and it had a lovely feel of a tropical garden setting.…
Simone & David – Delwood Beach – Balmoral Beach – Sergeants Mess Chowder Bay
Simone & David are a lovely couple and if you could bottle up & sell the smiles and happiness they showed on their wedding day I’m sure the world would become a better place very quickly! I started with Simone’s preparations at the Manly Pacific Hotel and the ceremony was held at Delwood Beach near Manly. It’s a great spot, nicely hidden away from crowds and it’s the perfect location for a beach wedding. The entrance by Simone and her bridesmaid down the stairs and along the sand was spectacular and the ceremony had some very touching moments…..and plenty of the smiles I mentioned earlier! Kyara & Ray – Manly Golf Club
Kyara & Ray were recently married at Manly Golf Club. We did some preparation shots with Kyara at the Manly Pacific Hotel, and the make up was by Rebecca at Newell Image. Rebecca has been at quite a few weddings with me and she always does fantastic work! The day was a bit wet (what has happened to the weather in Sydney lately?!) so the ceremony was held inside at the Manly Golf Club Chapel – a really great back up option for rain. Their celebrant was Jan Littlejohn who conducted a very lovely ceremony. The rain cleared by the time we went outside for photos on the golf course.…
Chloe & Brett – Manly Pacific – Freshwater View Reserve – Pilu
Chloe & Brett were married at a favourite outdoor ceremony location of mine – Freshwater View Reserve. It’s a great spot for a picnic, or some quiet time taking in the amazing view…… or a wedding ceremony! Preparation photos were at the Manly Pacific Hotel (the newly refurbished rooms were great) and it was so lovely to see the family super excited & emotional about the day! The ceremony at Freshwater View Reserve was beautiful, then we did location shots at Curl Curl Beach and Freshwater Beach. As you can see we had amazing weather and a lot of fun!
