Weddings - Liz & Dom - St Phillips - Castlereagh Boutique Hotel

Liz & Dom’s wedding was like something out of Lord of the Rings – maybe it was the church, or maybe it was Dom’s ring… or maybe it was just because these guys were just so super excited about being married it all seemed like a wonderful fairy tale!

The ceremony was at St Phillips Anglican Church which is actually Australia’s oldest church site where the first Christian service was held in 1788. It’s on York Street just as you get on/off the Harbour Bridge so right in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The current church was built in 1856 and has very similar architecture to St Mark’s in Darling Point and St Thomas’ in North Sydney, and all three churches are amazing.

We took photos at the church before heading to Hyde Park (after a heavy shower of rain) and then Martin Place. The reception was at the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel. Congratulations guys and thanks for a great day!
