Michelle & Dan – Peppers Creek – Pokolbin Hunter Valley
Michelle & Dan were recently married at the beautiful Peppers Creek at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. It was a fantastic wedding day with a great group of people that had an absolute ball and it was an real pleasure to capture all the fun! Peppers Creek is a stunning wedding venue and the Chapel a truly beautiful place for a ceremony. The evening was awesome with great food, lots of laughs & a roaring fire. Congrats guys! Carly & Torstein – the Viking & the Convict
Carly & Torstein (aka the Viking & the Convict) were married overseas in Torsrtein’s home country of Norway but they held a beautiful wedding party in Dural for their Australian family & friends. Driving to the house I really didn’t know what to expect…… but what I definitely didn’t expect was: vikings, convicts, a truly stunning vintage styled set up in a marquee, wheelbarrow race photos, how high the flowers were thrown, a world war two army jeep, old doors at the marquee entrance, a beautiful property with loads of great photo locations, Matt Inkster doing video, a beautifully impromptu first dance, and loads and loads of fun and smiles…
Anushka & Rukshan – Canberra – Palace Electric Wedding – Deck at Regatta Point
Anushka & Rukshan had an awesome wedding day down in Canberra. The weather was beautiful and it was great to go to the capital for a wedding. Both bride & groom preparations were a lot of fun to capture. The ceremony was St John the Apostle Church in Kippax – it was a lovely ceremony and Rukshan surprised everyone with a beautiful song just for Anushka. We headed into Canberra and did a short stop along the way to get attacked by ants….. ah….. take some location photos in the rolling hills & grass. Some great photos but the ants weren’t much fun! Our main destination in Canberra was the…
Jess & Peter – Clarke’s Point Reserve Wedding – Pontoon
Jess & Peter had an awesome wedding day right at the end of December. The ceremony was at Clarke's Point Reserve in Woolwich and after the ceremony and plenty of laughs - and compulsory shots - everyone boarded the Pontoon for a beautiful summer evening Harbour cruise.
Ellie & Travers – Gunners Barracks wedding
Ellie & Travers had an awesome day at the Gunners Barracks – a stunning wedding venue and with friends & family from the UK the weather showed off Sydney Harbour under perfect blue skies. A great wedding so congrats guys! Video for the day was by Mark at Moving Presentations – an awesome person to shoot with and always produces amazing work! Margaret & Jared – Centennial Park – RACA
Margaret & Jared had a beautiful (but hot) January day for their wedding. Jared is in the armed forces so the wedding had some awesome military uniforms. Margaret’s dress was stunning and the ceremony was held at St Mary’s Anglican Church in Waverly with the highlight being a guard of honour when Margaret & Jared exited the church. We did the bridal party photos at Centennial Park in the pine grove and got some really lovely photos before heading to the RACA (Royal Automobile Club of Australia). The RACA is one of my favourite venues with such beautiful period architecture. Congrats guys! Visit my facebook page here or for…
Carla & Tim – Gunners Barracks – Vintage Wedding
Carla & Tim had a vintage themed wedding and the Gunners Barracks was the perfect venue for this stylish step back in time! Tim looked very smart in his waistcoat and the boys in braces, and Carla had stunning make up and hair reminiscent of a 1930’s movie star with her bridesmaids in beautiful blue dresses. The day was a little cloudy and threatening some rain but thankfully we had no rain for the ceremony in the courtyard at the Gunners Barracks. It’s a great spot for windy days and in the event of rain you can always take cover under the awning. The celebrant was Jan Littlejohn who conducted a…
Sophie & Andy – Bradley’s Head – Clonnys Clontarf Beach
Sophie and Andy was my last wedding for 2012 and it was a great way to finish the year! The ceremony was held at Bradley’s Head and we had stunning weather – as soon as Sophie arrived the sun came out and phew it was hot! The lovely celebrant was Beverly Kable. We did some bridal party photos at Bradley’s Head and then headed up to George’s Heights (above the Gunners Barracks) before arriving at Clontarf Beach. By then the clouds had come back and we got some awesome photos on Clontarf Beach. The reception was a picnic style with home made lemonade and games outside Clonnys. It was great…
Emma & Corey – St Thomas’ Church North Sydney – Orso
St Thomas’ Church in North Sydney is one of my favourites so it was exciting to be shooting Emma & Corey’s wedding there in November. We had a great start to the day as I could photograph both their preparations. It’s always nice to get both preparations done as it breaks the ice with all the bridal party and makes the location shoot run just a little smoother. The weather was perfect and the ceremony at St Thomas’ was amazing. The aisle is super long and I just love the view from the small balcony where you can get a really wide shot, plus take a group shoot as everyone…
Angelique & Peter – St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church – Curzon Hall
A winter wedding always seems to be at more risk from cold & wet weather and unfortunately Angelique and Peter had some torrential downpours to contend with on the day. Fortunately we had some awesome locations to work with – including Curzon Hall – so we got some great photos….and managed to keep mostly dry! Visit my website or like me on facebook! It was awesome to work with Mark & Sam from Moving Presentations – check them out for fantastic wedding films in Sydney.
Rachel & Peter – Sydney Botanic Gardens – Aria Restaurant
It was a beautiful May day when Rachel & Peter got married at Aria Restaurant. The weather was warm and we did photos in the Botanic Gardens before the ceremony which started after sunset. The bridal party were awesome and we had lots of laughs and great shots simply wandering around the Botanic Gardens. The ceremony went very well and the dinner at Aria was quite amazing. A beautiful couple and an awesome day! Visit my website or like me on facebook!
