Mary & Ryan – Bradley’s Head – Taronga Centre wedding
Mary & Ryan were married in early June and were blessed with beautiful weather for their outdoor ceremony at Bradley’s Head. It’s a stunning location and after the ceremony we made the most of the views with some beautiful bridal party photos. The late afternoon light was awesome and we even had time to visit the giraffes at Taronga Zoo and monkey around as well. The Taronga Centre is a fantastic reception venue with views over the city that can’t be beaten. It was a great evening and the lolly bar was the best I’ve seen! Congrats guys. Fenella & James had an awesome wedding day full of smiles and lots of laughs! It was an early start at Fenella’s preparations as the ceremony at St Mark’s Darling Point was at 9.30am. Fenella and the girls looked stunning and at the church James and the boys were looking pretty sharp too. Fenella arrived at St Mark’s in a very cool old Jag and you could tell she was super excited about getting married. Actually the smiles and excitement didnt stop for the whole day which was awesome to see. We did some location photos at McKell Park before heading to the Sergeant’s Mess for the reception. It was…
Carlie & Paul – Clarkes Point Reserve – Deckhouse wedding
Carlie and Paul had a beautiful wedding day! Carlie got ready at the Sebel Pier One and looked amazing in her dress. I met Paul and the boys at Clarke’s Point Reserve and the set up overlooking the Harbour was magic. Carlie arrived and the ceremony all went well…. but we had to hurry afterwards with some very dark clouds gathering and it didnt take long for a huge storm front to arrive. We headed inside and waited for the worst of the rain to pass and thankfully still had time after for some more shots around the Deckhouse afterwards. The Deckhouse at Woolwich is a fantastic wedding venue and…

Suzanna & Tim – Gunners Barracks Wedding
Suzanna & Tim’s beautiful wedding at the Gunners Barracks was a special one for me as I had photographed Tim’s sisters wedding a few years ago. The day went so well from lot of laughs during the preparations through to a beautiful ceremony in the Gunners Barracks courtyard, great location photos around the Barracks, and a fun relaxed afternoon reception with lots of dancing and some beautiful speeches. Jess & Phil had an awesome wedding day with beautiful spring weather! I started the day with Jess & the girls and we got some lovely preparation shots before meeting the boys at Observatory Hill. This ceremony location is quite spectacular with amazing views over the Harbour Bridge. We had to hurry after the ceremony to catch the setting sun but it was stunning and we had time for some night shots around the bridge before heading to Ivy for the wedding reception. Ivy is a very cool venue and the doof-doof music from the day party was impressive! The room looked fantastic and Jess & Phil had a lolly…

Elli & Marcus – Curzon Hall
I’m catching up a bit of blogging and it was awesome to look back through the photos from Elli & Marcus’ wedding at Curzon Hall in April. The day was quite wet with patchy showers so as the guests arrived at Curzon Hall there was a serious threat of getting wet, and this kept everyone guessing whether we would be inside, outside, and WHEN will the string quartet arrive?! All this concern was put aside once Elli walked down the aisle to spine tingling vocals by their good friend. The ceremony was really lovely and held in a beautiful setting at the Enchanted Garden at Curzon Hall. Ellie & Marcus…
Kate & David – Cerretti Chapel Manly – Taronga Centre
Kate & David had an amazing wedding day! I started with the boys preps and with six groomsmen there was no shortage of laughs. Kate was getting ready nearby in Manly and it was all go with six bridesmaids, two flowers girls, and lots of fun getting ready. The ceremony was at Cerretti Chapel in Manly aka St Patrick’s College – famous for being Nicole & Keith’s wedding ceremony venue but surely Kate & David have claimed this now? With storm clouds gathering we did some location and bridal party photos on the grounds around the chapel before heading to Bradley’s Head. On the car trip there it poured down…
Sophie & Andy – Bradley’s Head – Clonnys Clontarf Beach
Sophie and Andy was my last wedding for 2012 and it was a great way to finish the year! The ceremony was held at Bradley’s Head and we had stunning weather – as soon as Sophie arrived the sun came out and phew it was hot! The lovely celebrant was Beverly Kable. We did some bridal party photos at Bradley’s Head and then headed up to George’s Heights (above the Gunners Barracks) before arriving at Clontarf Beach. By then the clouds had come back and we got some awesome photos on Clontarf Beach. The reception was a picnic style with home made lemonade and games outside Clonnys. It was great…
Emma & Corey – St Thomas’ Church North Sydney – Orso
St Thomas’ Church in North Sydney is one of my favourites so it was exciting to be shooting Emma & Corey’s wedding there in November. We had a great start to the day as I could photograph both their preparations. It’s always nice to get both preparations done as it breaks the ice with all the bridal party and makes the location shoot run just a little smoother. The weather was perfect and the ceremony at St Thomas’ was amazing. The aisle is super long and I just love the view from the small balcony where you can get a really wide shot, plus take a group shoot as everyone…

Claudia & James were married early in 2012 (yes I’m catching up on some blogging!) and had a beautiful day. The ceremony was at Pymble Ladies College and reception at the Sydney Golf Club. Amy & Tristan had an awesome wedding day – I started with Tristan and the boys in Manly and got some great shots of the preparations, especially the red MG and crossing the road in Manly. It was then a short trip to the Manly Pacific Hotel for Amy’s preparations. The ceremony was at St Thomas’ Church in North Sydney – it’s an amazing building with stunning architecture and Rev Richard James and Judy are an awesome pair to conduct the marriage ceremony. Lauren & Mark – Dunbar House Wedding Watsons Bay – Macquarie Lighthouse
Lauren & Mark held their wedding ceremony under a beautiful fig tree in Watson’s Bay right outside Dunbar House. There were storm clouds threatening but they held off until right to the end of the ceremony…… then it was umbrellas up and a run to cover! Thankfully the rain cleared for location photos firstly at Macquarie Lighthouse and then a beach near Strickland House. The sunlight coming through the clouds was spectacular! We headed back to Watson’s Bay via Nielsen Park and then into the reception upstairs at Dunbar House. Dunbar House is an awesome wedding venue and has an intimate feel but beautiful classic style. Weddings here always seem…
